NSW records one locally acquired coronavirus case

New South Wales has recorded one new locally acquired case of coronviruus.

The person is a staff member at the Jasmin 1 Liverpool restaurant who worked three shifts while potentially infectious.

The case is linked to the Hoxton Park cluster in south-west Sydney which now has seven cases, NSW Health’s Dr Jeremy McAnulty said.

Anyone who went to the Jasmin 1 Restaurant at 375 Macquarie Street in Liverpool for more than an hour during the below times must self-isolate immediately.

  • Monday 26 October, 4pm-9pm
  • Saturday 31 October, 3pm-8pm
  • Sunday 1 November, 9am-1.45pm

If you were at the restaurant for an hour or more during these times you must continue to isolate even if you receive a negative test result.
